Little Black Dress Club-Wood River Announces Fall Grant Cycle and Changes

The Little Black Dress Club of the Wood River Valley (LBDC-WR) seeks applications from nonprofit organizations located in and serving Blaine County for its upcoming grant cycle. The grant application form, qualifying criteria and guidance can be found here. The application deadline is September 15, 2014.

The website provides all of the information you need but there are a few changes in our process, says grants committee chairwoman Jaci Wilkins. One notable change, she said is that LBDC-WR will seek applications once a year, in September, whereas in previous years applications were solicited in March and September. Also, any qualifying organization can apply even if received a grant within the past twelve month cycle. Finalists in the grant application process will be invited to make a 5-minute presentation to a mid-October membership meeting after which final grant decisions will be made.

Officially organized in 2009, the Little Black Dress Club-Wood River is a philanthropic “giving circle” created to support non-profit organizations in Blaine County. LBDC-WR is a Donor Advised Fund of the Idaho Community Foundation and in its first five years provided $72,306 to organizations as diverse as The Advocates, Wood River Orchestra, Two Hearts 4H and Hailey Ice.
